Chicago, IL (October 21st, 2025) – Quantum Real Estate Advisors, Inc. has brokered the sale of a roughly 10,000 square-foot building located at 5518 W Chicago Ave, Chicago, Illinois. The property sold for $700,000. The property was formerly leased to Dollar General, however, was vacant at the time of sale. The buyer was a local church. The seller was a private investor from Northern California. Dan Waszak, Executive Vice President of Quantum Real Estate Advisors, Inc., and Aaron Zell, Vice President of Quantum Real Estate Advisors, Inc. represented the seller in the transaction.
Mr. Waszak had the following comments regarding the transaction, “The seller acquired this property ten years ago when Dollar General first moved in. He was very happy with the investment, but given his location in California, felt the best approach was to sell as vacant.” Mr. Zell added, “after reviewing potential redevelopment options and the offer in hand, the seller was happy to sell to the church and help the community.”
