Chicago, IL (June 9, 2023) – Quantum Real Estate Advisors, Inc. has brokered the sale of a single-tenant Dollar General located at 914 Sheridan Road, Winthrop Harbor, IL. The property was built in 2013, at which time Dollar General signed a 15-year lease. At the time of sale, the lease had roughly 6 years of term remaining. The seller was an Illinois-based investor and the purchaser was a New York-based investor. Daniel Waszak, Executive Vice President of Quantum Real Estate Advisors, Inc. represented the purchaser in the transaction.
Mr. Waszak had the following to say about the transaction. “Even with the slightly shorter term remaining on the lease, the buyer loved the underlying real estate.” He continued, “This goes to show that there is still robust demand for well-located, net-lease properties even if some lease term has burnt off.”
