The property was sold for $4,300,000. The site is part of the Freedom Commons mixed-use development that includes tenants: Morton’s Steak House, Subway, Athletico, Jason’s Deli, Maggianos and many more. The Seller was a real estate investor based in Scottsdale, AZ. The buyer was a private real estate investor based in Chicago, IL. Chad Firsel, President of Quantum Real Estate Advisors, Inc. was the sole broker in the transaction.
Mr. Firsel had the following comments regarding the transaction, “we were able to overcome several obstacles, including a short-term remaining in lease and a relatively high-rent for the market.” Mr. Firsel adds, “Ultimately, the buyer saw that there wasn’t a decent alternative for this tenant and he figures they are staying put.”
